DEVLOG - #5
Finally the Save/Load System is in place!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know I missed the yesterday's Devlog but it was because of many technical difficulties that I ran into while trying to implement this Save/Load System
The save files will be stored in the JSON format with the extension of .game as it is the easy way to write and read these sorts of data.
Now I will start work on the save slot and file overwriting system so that we can have multiple savefiles in the game
Data which is being saved in the savefile
- Score
- Health
- Bullets
- GameTime (Time Survived For)
- Number Of Enemies Killed
My reason to save these data is so that I can implement achivements into the game
The game will be saved either when you save it using the save button in the pause menu or when going back to the main menu and not when the application is exited.
